Custom Orders Yes, We Can Do That At Poplar Street Woodworks, we specialize in helping our customers get exactly what they are looking for. How do we do it? Simple, we offer as many options for our products as we can think of, more than anyone we know of. But it doesn't stop there, because everything we make is custom made to order, you have the opportunity to custom tailor your order. We get a lot of emails with questions about what we can do, and some of them think that they have silly questions or requests. We have to admit, that a lot of those requests are really great ideas, and we are happy to do it. Custom Wood Choices We stock red oak, maple, cherry, walnut and quarter sawn white oak, and yes we can make it out of pine if that's what you really want. We can even do exotic woods including curly cherry, curly maple, zebrawood and bubinga too. Just ask us. Don't ask us about particle board though, because it will never happen. Custom Sizes We offer a variety of sizes to choose from for most of our products. If we don't offer the exact size you need, simply specify the exact size you need when placing your order. We can custom tailor any of our products to suit your needs. Need a shelf that's 43" wide and 14" deep? We can do that. Custom Finish Colors We have 12 stain colors to choose from for woods like oak, maple and cherry. We also have period correct Mission Oak and Mission Cherry stains for our products made from quarter sawn oak. We also offer all of our products unfinished, so you can do your own thing. If you want us to use a particular brand of stain or color, that you have used throughout your home, we can do that too. We Can Paint It Too Painted wood is a hot trend right now and we are pleased to offer satin finishes available in white, black, olive green and the ever so popular espresso. Looking for distressed antique white finishes? We now offer our custom white antique finish on all of our products. Did you really want a antique sage finish though? Sure we can. Custom Options Most of our products offer additional styling options for you to choose from and vary from product to product. We offer a wide variety of hardware, edge profiles and decorative accents to enhance your selection. If you have seen an option that you like, but it's not offered for what you want to buy, just ask us, chances are good that we can do that.
